Job Responsibilities:
➤ Import Operations Management: Handle end-to-end import processes for including sourcing, documentation, and logistics.
➤ Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Develop and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, traders, and shipping companies.
➤ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to import regulations, food safety standards, and customs clearance requirements.
➤ Supply Chain & Logistics: Optimize shipping schedules, freight rates, and inventory levels to ensure timely delivery.
➤ Cost Optimization: Negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers and shipping minimize costs and maximize profitability.
➤ Market Analysis: Monitor global market trends, price fluctuations, and trade policies to make informed purchasing decisions.
➤ Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to align import activities with business needs.
➤ Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to currency exchange rates, supply chain disruptions, and import regulations.
➤ Documentation & Reporting: Ensure proper handling of LCs (Letters of Credit), SBLCs, shipping documents, customs filings, and compliance reports.
Key Requirements:
➤ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
➤ Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, trading operations, and business administration.
➤ Proven ability to manage P&L, optimize production, and drive sales growth.
➤ Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
➤ Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance norms in biodiesel and edible oil sectors.
➤ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
➤ Ability to handle multiple departments, large teams, and operational challenges.
